Manoj Bajpayee looks rugged and rustic in 'Bhaiyya Ji' trailer
Acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee has teamed up once again with the creators of his celebrated movie Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai for a new project, Bhaiyya Ji. The project's trailer, released on Thursday, promises oodles of action and bloodshed. The clip introduces a character persistently inquiring about Bhaiyya Ji, leading to the revelation that "Bhaiyya Ji is the mastermind who turns opposition into power and power into opposition." The film will be released on May 24.
'Bhaiyya Ji': A high-octane drama with suspense at its core
The trailer features Bajpayee in intense action sequences, portraying the eponymous formidable character. Though the clip does not shed much light on the story, it hints at an intense rivalry and a rooted storyline. With Apoorv Singh Karki directing and Deepak Kingrani penning the script, Bhaiyya Ji promises a captivating cinematic experience. The film also features Suvinder Vicky, Jatin Goswami, Vipin Sharma, and Zoya Hussain. The project marks a milestone for Bajpayee since it's his 100th film!

'Sometimes a criminal, sometimes a cop': Bajpayee on diverse roles
In a previous interview, Bajpayee shared his approach to transitioning between diverse roles in films. "Sometimes, you essay the role of a criminal, sometimes a cop, sometimes someone who works with Intelligence, sometimes a rich man from Gulmohar. It becomes a process. You finish one thing and you are onto the next." He emphasized that each character is equally demanding and often the director is as well.
Bajpayee's recent projects and upcoming ventures
In addition to Bhaiyya Ji, Bajpayee has been involved in several notable projects recently. He was last seen in Silence 2 on ZEE5 and is currently working on Kanu Behl's project Despatch. Earlier this year, he starred in Abhishek Chaubey's comedy-crime thriller web series Killer Soup, co-written by Chaubey, Harshad Nalawade, Anant Tripathi, and Unaiza Merchant. The series, originally titled Soup, was released on Netflix to mixed reception. Moreover, he recently began shooting for The Family Man Season 3.
