'Ulajh' to wrap up box office run before collecting ₹10cr
Janhvi Kapoor's latest film, Ulajh, is inching closer to the ₹10 crore mark at the box office. The movie, which also features Gulshan Devaiah, has raked in a total of ₹8.94 crore as of its third Tuesday, Day 12, according to early estimates. The film has been giving stiff competition to Ajay Devgn and Tabu's musical romance Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.
'Ulajh' box office collection: Day-wise breakdown
Ulajh opened on August 2, collecting ₹1.15 crore on day one, followed by ₹1.75 crore and ₹2 crore on days two and three respectively. The film's earnings dipped to ₹0.65 crore on day four, remaining consistent on day five. Day six saw a collection of ₹0.6 crore, followed by ₹0.45 crore and ₹0.35 crore on days seven and eight respectively.
'Ulajh' day-wise box office collection continued to fall down
On day nine, Ulajh saw a slight increase in earnings with ₹0.58 crore, followed by ₹0.67 crore on day 10. The film brought in ₹0.13 crore and ₹0.11 crore on days 11 and 12 respectively, according to early estimates. It is unlikely to get a chance after Wednesday as three major Hindi movies are hitting theaters on Independence Day (Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein, and Vedaa).
'Ulajh' receives positive reviews from audience
Audience reviews for Ulajh have been largely positive, with many praising Kapoor's performance as Suhana Bhatia.
