
'Didn't affect my family': Udit Narayan recalls kissing controversy

Renowned playback singer Udit Narayan recently spoke about the controversy caused by a video that captured him kissing a female fan during a performance.
Speaking to TOI, he said the incident hasn't affected him or his family.
"People joked about it online and I was amused and laughed about it," he said.
"My wife Deepa accompanies me to most of my concerts and is happy to see the love I get."

Narayan emphasized his illustrious career over past controversies
Narayan stressed how his achievements are what really matter.
"I belong to a family that was into farming and I have literally started from scratch," he said.
"I believed in my dreams and made my way into Bollywood on my own. I have won two National Awards and have sung so many songs."
"After so much hard work, I am not affected if people bring back something from the past."

Narayan's recent appearance on 'Indian Idol' with son Aditya
In an earlier interview with ETimes, the singer had said that the video was merely a "manifestation of the love between my fans and I."
He claimed that his bond with fans is "deep, pure, and unbreakable."
Separately, in the latest episode of Indian Idol, Narayan made a special appearance as a guest judge.
The episode was hosted by his son and singer Aditya Narayan.
