This incident hits home for many Twitter users
Investigation reveals disturbing details about Freeman's behavior
The CNN report, which brought to light the allegations, revealed disturbing details about Freeman's behavior. CNN interviewed 16 women and 8 said Freeman abused them sexually or made uncomfortable advances towards them. Three women said he repeatedly commented about their dresses.
Morgan Freeman issued apology after sexual allegations charges
"Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. Making women feel uncomfortable was 'never my intent'," said Freeman in the statement. But this apology obviously doesn't cut it.
Why Freeman's sexual misconduct breaks the heart
Morgan Freeman's view on civil rights and him advocating same sex-marriage made him a revered figure for many. Though many ridiculed him for saying a 'black history month' is unnecessary, his views on racism (including Baltimore attack) made him a strong voice of sanity. But talking about oppression on one hand, and abusing women on other, just shows his hypocrisy.

Morgan Freeman dropped from campaigns after controversy
In light of sexual allegations, the Oscar-winning actor was dropped from two marketing campaigns. "Visa will be suspending our marketing in which the actor is featured," Visa said. Vancouver's public transit system, Translink, decided to not use Morgan Freeman's voice for announcements to promote its Visa credit card and mobile payments on bus and Skytrain operations. You can't get away with harassment, after all!
