FIR against ex-Bigg Boss contestant Akashdeep for assaulting auto-drivers
An FIR has been lodged against TV actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Akashdeep Saigal for allegedly beating up two auto-rickshaw drivers. As narrated by one of the victims, the incident transpired after he called Akash out for driving on the wrong side of the road. Akash, along with his two relatives, then got into an argument with the driver and bashed him.
Here's what the police officer said
"On Tuesday morning, an argument took place between Akash and auto-rickshaw drivers over the road being one way. Prima facie, we have been told that Saigal and two more people started hitting the drivers with bamboo sticks," a police source was quoted as saying.
The driver has sustained major injuries
The auto-rickshaw driver is said to have sustained major injuries and is taken to the hospital. Adil Khatri, one of the drivers' advocate, said, "My client was beaten up by Saigal. He said he will drive from whichever side he wants to on the road. My client is critically injured and is admitted to a hospital. Saigal was called to the police station."
