'Tumbbad' re -release : A strategic move to capture larger audience
Producer Aanand L. Rai recently explained the rationale behind Tumbbad's re-release to Zoom. He stated, "When we were in 2018 and it got released, the film never had that larger audience in the theaters." "In the last five years, a lot of people have seen this film on OTT. I saw a definite regret in them for not watching on the big screen."
