SRK's cousin from Pakistan is contesting elections. Why-the-ruckus, dear trolls?
The jobless trolls are at it again, and this time they seemed to have surpassed their level of stupidity when they started talking ill about Shah Rukh Khan, just because his cousin from Pakistan is contesting elections there. Just when the news surfaced, trolls swung to action and started asking SRK to stay in Pakistan. If only they had some work to do!
Upon winning, Noor Jehan wants to work for women empowerment
Noor Jehan is Shah Rukh's paternal cousin and filed nomination papers from the PK-77 constituency of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly, Peshawar. Speaking about the elections scheduled for July 25, Noor Jehan said, "I want to work for women's empowerment. I'd like to focus on the problems in my constituency." Her brother Mansoor, who campaigned for her, said she previously worked as a councillor.
On this side of border, trolls vent anger at SRK
Without understanding anything, trolls were quick to jump the gun. One user @Being_Jagriti_ wrote: "Congrats @iamsrk but ek kaam krna Pakistan chle jao & wapas kbhi mt aana India #SRKPakistani." A user @DARKMATTER1008 wrote: "Any doubts on his quick Help to Pakistan during floods?" And another @JAsrotiaRaghuu wrote: "Today I come to know why he love Pakistan."
One Twitter user cracked code of SRK's Pakistan love
Not the first time SRK's "patriotism" has been questioned
On his 50th birthday in 2015, Shah Rukh Khan found himself at the center of a controversy when he said India was an intolerant country. Then too, many were eager to sponsor his Pakistan trip. But SRK had said, "I'm not in a stage or age that I need to clarify. People of this country know me. Perhaps they didn't understand what I said."
Some sane people tried reasoning with trolls, but in vain
While many Twitter users felt there was unnecessary controversy about it, and Shah Rukh Khan was being unduly targeted, the voice of sanity was trumped by stupidity. Nevertheless, the bottom line is Khan must surely not be paying any attention to these trolls as he is busy with Anand L. Rai's 'Zero'. And let's not forget, one can't really give brains to trolls.
