The industry is rife with speculations of superstar Prabhas teaming up with director Trivikram Srinivas for a big-budget film, tentatively titled Jatayu.
The project is backed by producer Dil Raju, who initially planned the movie with Vijay Deverakonda, but is now considering Prabhas, reported CineJosh.
Despite the actor's busy schedule with several projects, such as Hanu Raghavapudi's action drama and the horror comedy The Raja Saab, Raju is reportedly keen on locking in this project.

'Jatayu' was pitched by director Indraganti Mohana Krishna
The story of Jatayu was reportedly initially pitched to Raju by director Indraganti Mohana Krishna, who had planned to produce the film on a massive scale.
However, Raju has now approached Srinivas, reportedly due to his prowess in mythology.
Per a report by M9News, Krishna will write the film.
He has described the project as "a real Hollywood superhero film. It is Ramayana in a new perspective with a contemporary feel with extraordinary visual effects and sound mix."

Prabhas has several projects slated for the next few years: Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Salaar 2 with Prashanth Neel, and Kannappa (cameo), among others.
Srinivas, who last directed Guntur Kaaram, has a project in development with Allu Arjun.
Raju, meanwhile, recently produced Ram Charan's Game Changer and has another project planned with Arjun.
