Triptii Dimri never said yes to FICCI Jaipur event
Actor Triptii Dimri has hit back at claims that she skipped a scheduled event in Jaipur after reportedly accepting payment for her appearance. The drama started on Tuesday when the organizers of FICCI FLO's Nari Shakti event accused Dimri of ghosting them despite promising to show up. In response, a statement from the actor's spokesperson said she "fully honored her professional obligations," attending all events related to her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video's promotional campaign.
'She did not participate or commit to participate...'
A spokesperson for Dimri said, "During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honored her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film." "Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties." It emphasized that no "additional fees" were accepted for her involvement in these activities.
Organizers claimed deal with Dimri was worth ₹5.5L
One of the organizers of the Jaipur event claimed that they had a deal with the actor for ₹5.5L for this particular event and even threatened to take legal action against her for ghosting them. They also suggested boycotting Dimri and her movie, accusing her of being deceptive. Videos from the event showed attendees defacing Dimri's poster and calling for her boycott, while another video captured the event's organizer blackening a poster of Dimri on stage in protest.
