'Loose Cannons': NFL star Travis Kelce to make film debut
What's the story
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and recent Super Bowl champion, is set to make his feature film debut in Lionsgate's upcoming action-comedy, Loose Cannons.
The project is being produced by Chad Stahelski, director of the John Wick series, through his 87Eleven Entertainment banner. Jason Spitz and Alex Young are also on board as producers, reported Deadline.
The script for the film is being penned by Timothy Dowling.

The plot details of Loose Cannons are currently being kept under wraps.
However, it is known that the film will center around two unhinged cops who are paired together in an attempt to straighten them both out.
With the new NFL season just weeks away, filming for the movie is expected to commence at a later date.

Kelce's Hollywood journey
Loose Cannons marks Kelce's first foray into feature films.
He is also set to appear in the upcoming horror drama Grostesquerie, created by Ryan Murphy, which premieres on FX on September 25.
The details of his role in the series, which revolves around a series of gruesome crimes that have disturbed a small town, have not been revealed yet.
