'TKSS': Kapil Sharma charges this whopping amount per episode
The most loved comic in the country, Kapil Sharma's journey has been one of a kind. During the episodes of his ongoing talk show The Kapil Sharma Show, the 38-year-old actor-comedian is often seen teasing Bollywood biggies and other celebrities about their impressive paycheck. But this time, turning the tables, his latest guest and noted singer Udit Narayan revealed Kapil's salary.

Recently, Udit, accompanied by his wife Deepa Narayan and their son, also a singer, Aditya Narayan graced Kapil's popular show. The family and the host engaged in candid chit-chat over various light-hearted topics. However, the highlight of the show remained the moment when Udit revealed to the audience that Kapil charges a massive Rs. 1 crore per episode of the show.

My girlfriends were more impressed by my father: Aditya
Through the length of the said episode, Kapil and his guests talked about several things. Udit, clearly in a jolly mood as always, told the host and the audience about his struggles in the industry, and his love life. The family shared several anecdotes from their life. In one instance, Aditya amusingly revealed, "My girlfriends were more impressed by my father than myself."
Once, Kapil used to work for mere Rs. 1,500
Notably, stardom didn't come easy to Kapil. In fact, during one of the episodes of TKSS, the comedian stated that he got his first job at a printing mill, where his salary was a measly Rs. 1,500. He later appeared on shows like The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He has also starred in Bollywood films like Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015) and Firangi (2017).

Meanwhile, The Kapil Sharma Show is winning the TRP game. For the 40th week, the show has secured sixth spot with 2.3 points on the TRP chart. Other shows like Kundali Bhagya, and Kumkum Bhagya took the first and second positions in the list, while Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 and Superstar Singer took third, fourth and fifth spots respectively.
