'TKSS' actor Sumona Chakravarti shares her struggle to quit smoking
What's the story
Sumona Chakravarti, who plays Bhoori, Titli Yadav's (Bharti Singh) sister on The Kapil Sharma Show, recently admitted that she was once a smoking addict.
In a powerful post on Instagram, she revealed how she kicked off the habit two years ago.
She says that though her initial days were difficult, now "my body rejects smoke. Cant stand in a room where ppl are smoking."
Struggle
"It is so hard to leave- Until you leave"
In her post, Sumona also cited a quote by noted American author John Green, saying, "It is so hard to leave- Until you leave. And then it is the easiest goddamned thing in the world."
Sensing that this "small dose of reality" is a sudden announcement, the 31-year-old pointed out that as someone who's followed and loved by several, she feels responsible towards them.
Quote
Hopefully, with this, I can inspire a few, says Sumona
"Why am i sharing this? People follow us. Like us. Love us. Criticize us. Admire us. Hopefully, with this, I can inspire a few. The most important reminder being we are all flawed human beings which are quite non-existent on social media," the actress emphasized.

Earlier, Sumona had spoken about discrimination against TV actors
This isn't the first time Sumona has spoken out fearlessly.
Earlier, she had slammed the showbiz industry on Twitter for its discrimination against TV actors.
"TV actors being pitted against unsuccessful film actors or just simply the ones who have played small character roles. I know how many times my name has been turned down because I am a TV face," she had written.
Statement
'Fanaa' director Kunal Kohli had supported her in this issue
"Arrey, that girl is from Kapil show. No let's take film actor. It's just sad. Casting people are now telling TV actors to stay away from TV for a while if you want to get considered for web shows. You know what, f**k you," Sumona added.
Fanaa director Kunal Kohli supported her, saying, "To slot people like this is wrong. Totally understand your anger."
