'Tiger Zinda Hai' roars on box office, earns Rs. 33cr
After a whole month of not even a single good movie to watch, Salman Khan's 'Tiger Zinda Hai' comes as a fresh breath of air for all the movie-buffs. While the action-sequels have greatly appeased some critics, some are just questioning the missing logic in the film. But, whatever be the case, the film has garnered Rs. 33 crore on the opening day.

As per trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' has opened on a great note. The film, which was released in 5700 screens worldwide, has earned more than Rs. 33 crore on day one. With this, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' has also become the second highest opening film of the year, after Baahubali 2. As predicted, the film will soon join the 100 crore club.
About the movie
This Ali Abbas Zaffar directorial is a spy thriller and is a sequel of 2012 movie 'Ek Tha Tiger', which also starred Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan as lead actors. Actress Katrina Kaif essays the character of Zoya and Salman plays the role of Tiger; they both look fierce on the posters with deadliest weapons in their hands. The film also stars Angad Bedi.
