Doordarshan announced in a tweet that 'Circus', the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer critically acclaimed TV show will be returning to the small screen. According to the tweet, 'Circus' will begin its reruns from 19th February onwards at 8 pm. In it, SRK plays the role of Shekharan, a circus caretaker who resents his job, but eventually stops hating the circus because of people around him.

According to a report by Filmfare, filmmaker Siddharth Anand will be directing a cross-cultural romantic drama featuring actress Deepika Padukone and Chinese actor Deng Chow. The same report states that the filmmaker was looking to cast an A-list Bollywood actor with an established international presence. Padukone made an impressive Hollywood debut in January, starring opposite Vin Diesel in xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

Actor and human rights campaigner Ashton Kutcher was present at a senate hearing on Wednesday, encouraging US lawmakers to end child sexual exploitation. Kutcher said that it was time for the "society and government" to "defend the vulnerable." He was present as the chairman of Thorn, an organization that develops software to locate victims of abuse.
