#ComicBytes: The worst members of the Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes
What's the story
Earth's mightiest heroes can be mediocre too.
When we hear the word 'Avengers', our mind instantly imagines the righteous Captain America, thunderous Asgardian God Thor, genius inventor-superhero Iron Man, or anyone who features prominently in the main roster.
But there are many useless members of the Avengers, who can be easily forgotten.
Even with significant powers, they are pretty much the worst Avengers.
Doctor Druid
Doctor Druid, the potential yet irrelevant replacement of Doctor Strange
Anthony Druid or Doctor Druid is an ordinary psychiatrist, who learned mystic arts and was once considered as the replacement of Doctor Strange.
Strangely, despite having mind-control as his fundamental superpower, he was himself mind-controlled twice, which endangered the entire team.
Then he died but was again revived for no good reason.
His existence is so irrelevant that no one really remembers him.
Gilgamesh
Gilgamesh, The Forgotten One is actually pretty forgettable
The Forgotten One is a part of the Eternals, and will soon enter the MCU with Eternals.
Once, when the Avengers roster suddenly became empty, this Eternal joined the team and took the name Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh is quite strong and has immense wisdom (he's an immortal after all).
However, he never became a good hero.
Also, what's up with that ridiculous costume with bullhorns?
Starfox
Starfox, brother of Thanos, has faced sexual assault charges
Eros, better known as Starfox, is Thanos's brother.
Starfox has the psionic ability to stimulate the brain's pleasure centers of people near him.
While he did put this ability to good use while working as an Avenger, he used it more for seduction.
In fact, once he was taken to court for sexual assault after using his powers to seduce a married woman.
Triathlon
Triathlon, the revamp of 3-D Man, couldn't attract any popularity
Triathlon is a reboot of the 3-D Man, an old Marvel character.
Introduced during the Kurt Busiek-George Perez Avengers run in the late '90s, Delroy Garrett Jr. is a disgraced Olympic gold medallist with physical abilities that are three times better than a normal human.
Cool power, but among enhanced superheroes, it's not enough.
Since no one could make him popular, he eventually disappeared.
D-Man
D-Man is still considered a smelly Wolverine knock-off
Dennis Dunphy or D-Man (D for demolition) is a former professional wrestler turned costumed adventurer.
Although he started out as one of Captain America's closest allies, he never caught up to the ranks of A-List Avengers.
His failure is mostly attributed to the fact like his costume is too similar to Wolverine.
Also, he might be the smelliest superhero of all time.
