Is Rishi Kapoor diagnosed with cancer? Randhir reveals the truth
Rishi Kapoor's absence from the funeral of his mother Krishna Raj Kapoor grabbed the eyeballs. Quite insensitively, there was a buzz that Rishi, who mentioned about going to the US for a medical treatment, had been diagnosed with an advanced stage of cancer. But brother Randhir Kapoor has dismissed the reports and mentioned that he is yet to undergo the tests. Here's more.
We have no clue about the ailment, says Randhir
Randhir also mentioned that as of now no one has a clue about Rishi's ailment as the tests are yet to be conducted. "We don't know yet what is the exact nature of his ailment. Rishi himself doesn't know what he's suffering from. He only reached America two-three days ago and so far, he was being prepared for the tests," Randhir told ET.
Randhir lashes out at gossipmongers
Miffed with the rumors about Rishi's ailment, Randhir lashed out at the media for exaggerating issues. He even said that it isn't fair to speculate about it at a nascent stage. "He has not even started undergoing tests there; how can people speculate that he has cancer and that too, one that has escalated to advanced stage," Randhir added.
Rishi tweeted about his medical treatment in US
Notably, on Saturday, Rishi Kapoor took to micro-blogging site Twitter and revealed about his absence from work. The veteran actor wrote that he is flying to US for some medical treatment and even urged people not to speculate unnecessarily. But looks like that was way too much for Rishi to ask for. We wish him a speedy recovery from his 'yet-to-be-known' ailment.
