The actress claimed that more often than not, she was taken over by a feeling where she wanted to explain herself. "It's weird. If someone accuses you of something, the first instinct is to come out and tell, 'Listen, why do you think it is like this?" she added.

However, with time Fatima has got accustomed to such rumors and doesn't feel the need to explain herself. In fact, she is following the 'kuch to log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna' policy. "Now, I don't feel the need to explain because I feel no matter what you do, people will talk about you. Logon ka kaam hai bolna woh bolenge," Fatima said.

Earlier, Fatima also expressed her feelings on the failure of her last releaseThugs of Hindostan. The movie, which struggled to collect even Rs. 150 crore, was criticized by audience and critics alike. "I was very disturbed and heartbroken, but eventually, I learned to accept it. I still take it positively because I got this opportunity to work with such legends," she asserted.
