'The Traitors': Karan Johar's show ropes in Jannat Zubair-Harsh Gujral
Karan Johar is all set to host a new reality show, The Traitors, which is an Indian adaptation of an American game show. The show has reportedly roped in several celebrities including comedian Harsh Gujral and actor Jannat Zubair. Renowned casting director Mukesh Chhabra, actor/model Sahil Salathia, Bollywood villain Ashish Vidyarthi, singer/rapper Raftaar, and fashion critic Sufi will also be part of the show, reportedly.

Other contestants on the show reportedly include Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Shilpa Shetty's businessman husband Raj Kundra, internet sensation Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Arjun Kapoor's sister Anshula Kapoor. However, an official confirmation is still awaited. The format of the show requires 10 contestants to be confined at a single location for two weeks. The contestants will have to perform several tasks to remain in the game.
'The Traitors' to be shot in Jaisalmer
According to Pinkvilla, The Traitors is being shot at Hotel Suryagarh in Jaisalmer. The concept of the show revolves around good versus evil, where contestants will be divided into two groups: "good citizens" and "Mafias." The shoot will reportedly last for 14 days. A source close to the development told the publication that the show will have "a lot of twists and turns."
Johar currently busy with release of 'Devara' and 'Jigra'
Meanwhile, Johar is currently busy with the release of Devara and Jigra. The Jr NTR-led film is set to hit theaters on September 27, while Alia Bhatt's Jigra will be released theatrically on October 11. Johar will follow these films with Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, and a yet-untitled film with Akshay Kumar. The filmmaker is working on the script of his own directorial, which is touted to be an action film with a young star.
