What's the story

Coralie Fargeat's body-horror film The Substance, starring Demi Moore, has won the Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.

The award was accepted by Pierre-Olivier Persin, Stéphanie Guillon, and Marilyne Scarselli—marking the trio's first-ever win.

The film follows Elisabeth Sparkle (Moore), who, after being dismissed by her producer due to her age, turns to an illicit drug that creates a younger version of herself.
