'The Sky Is Pink' to premiere at Toronto Film Festival
Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Farhan Akhtar's next The Sky Is Pink, helmed by Shonali Bose, will premiere at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival 2019 (TIFF). The grand unveiling will be held at the Gala presentation on September 13. The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle of TIFF; they also shared the first poster of this highly anticipated movie of this year.
The first poster is all about family love and bond
The first poster of The Sky Is Pink features Priyanka with Farhan, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf witnessing a beautiful sunset on the beach side. Although all of them have their back towards the camera, the picture does speak a lot about family bonding.

'The Sky Is Pink' marks Priyanka's comeback in Bollywood
Notably, The Sky Is Pink will mark Priyanka's return to Bollywood after three years. She was last seen in Jai Gangaajal. The Sky Is Pink will also see Priyanka's second appearance at TIFF after Pahuna: The Little Visitors, produced by her, premiered in 2017. "Looking forward to being back at TIFF to showcase our small package of love to the world," she added.

Interestingly, Priyanka's Purple Pebble Pictures is also a co-producer of the film. Talking about why she chose to do and back the film, the 37-year-old said, "The Sky Is Pink is a story that I connected with from the minute I heard it and in Shonali's hands, it's been crafted into a moving, beautiful film that will renew our faith in love and life."

Further, the movie will be Siddharth Roy Kapur's first home-production to get premiered at TIFF, and the producer is thrilled about it. Ronnie Screwvala, another producer of the film, said, "The Sky Is Pink is a story for audiences across the globe. 'The Sky Is Pink' is based on Aisha Chaudhary's family
For the uninitiated, The Sky Is Pink is a love story of a couple - Aditi and Niren Chaudhary - spanning 25 years and is told by their teenage daughter - Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Dangal actress Zaira Wasim will be seen playing the role of Aisha. The movie will be releasing on October 11 this year.
