Kapil Sharma, who was missing from action for a while, has given a sigh of relief to his fans as he announced his comeback.

The renowned comedian will soon be returning on the television screens with 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.

He took to Twitter to share the happy news with his fans and we all are excited about his return.

Not just the fans, Sony TV is also excited to have Kapil back in action.

They issued an official statement and said that they are looking forward to this collaboration.

The return

Kapil to return on Diwali?

As per the media reports, Kapil is likely to return on Diwali this year and the makers are working on the format of TKSS.

"While the old format has been retained, the team is looking at adding some new segments," a source told Indian Express.

The makers are yet to announce the final cast of the show which will be aired on weekends.

Kapil was upset with abrupt end of his last show

Kapil Sharma went on a sabbatical after his last show 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' ended abruptly owing to poor TRPs.

He even had a breakdown on Twitter where he got into a war of words with media and his former colleagues.

But looks like Kapil wants to be in a better space now and is working hard on it.
