'The Great Indian Kapil Show 2' to start filming soon
The second season of the popular comedy chat show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, is set to begin filming on Tuesday, August 13, according to reports by ETimes. Hosted by Kapil Sharma, the show concluded its first season in June after 13 successful episodes. Following its success, Netflix renewed the show for a second season, promising more fun, laughter, and star-studded moments.
Season 2 to feature Bollywood wives in first episode
The first episode of the upcoming season will feature the stars of Netflix's Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, reported the portal. While the complete guest list for Season 2 remains undisclosed, it is expected to include a mix of iconic actors and beloved personalities. The show features Sharma along with Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur.
Season 1 featured a star-studded lineup
The first season premiered on March 30 and included appearances from stars like Ranbir Kapoor and international musician Ed Sheeran. Aamir Khan also made a rare appearance on the show where he discussed his life. Other celebrities who spoke with Sharma included Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, Badshah, Diljit Dosanjh, Imtiaz Ali, and Parineeti Chopra among others. The last episode featured Kartik Aaryan and his mother.
