On the 14th day (Thursday), it added ₹0.01 crore to its total earnings (early estimates), pushing the overall India nett to approximately ₹20.35 crore across all languages. The film's daily box office collection has seen a series of ups and downs since its release.
'The Family Star' saw fluctuating box office performance
The Family Star made a strong debut with ₹5.75 crore on Day 1, but experienced a 40% drop on the second day, bringing in ₹3.45 crore. The downward trend continued into the third day with a further decrease of 10.14%, resulting in earnings of ₹3.1 crore. Despite these fluctuations, the film bounced back with an impressive 92.31% increase on its fifth day, earning ₹2.5 crore.
'The Family Star' has to maintain momentum on weekdays
Despite a 54% dip in earnings on the sixth day, with collections of ₹1.15 crore, The Family Star ended its first week with a total collection of ₹18.25 crore. The film's daily earnings continued to fluctuate in the second week, beginning with a steep decline of 67% on the eighth day (₹0.33 crore). However, it rebounded with an increase of around 50% on the weekends. To survive, the Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur film must maintain momentum on weekdays.
