The creators of Amazon Prime Video's hit web show The Family Man, Raj and DK have announced that the second season of the series has been delayed.
The announcement comes after reports suggested that the streaming company was contemplating postponing its release due to the controversies and legal cases surrounding its two other shows - Tandav and Mirzapur.

'The Family Man' was scheduled to premiere on February 12
The director duo wrote in an Instagram post, "We know you have eagerly been waiting for the new season of The Family Man. We are grateful and humbled by all the love! We have an update for you. The Family Man season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this summer!"
The new season was originally supposed to premiere on February 12.
Controversy
'Tandav' and 'Mirzapur' remain embroiled in controversy
Last month, several complaints were filed against Saif Ali Khan-starrer show Tandav for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. It premiered on Prime Video on January 15.
The Supreme Court also declined to grant interim protection from coercive action to the team, currently facing multiple police cases.
Amid the Tandav controversy, a case was also registered against the producers of Mirzapur, another Prime Video original series.

What is 'The Family Man' all about?
The Family Man, starring Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role of a spy trying to balance his secret work life and family, was praised by critics and viewers.
In fact, at the first edition of Filmfare Awards held for OTT content, the show took home five awards.
It has been written and directed by Raj and DK.
The second season also features Samantha Akkineni.
