Creators of the popular Amazon Prime Video series, The Family Man, are reportedly considering ending the show with its fourth season, reported Mid-Day. The third season of the espionage thriller, which stars Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role, is currently being filmed. According to the portal, creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are "toying with the idea" of concluding the series after its fourth installment.

A source told Mid-Day, "The third season's shoot is underway and everyone in the team is excited about how it is shaping up. Simultaneously, there is a discussion about signing off the series with the fourth edition." "Raj-DK have yet to take a final decision." "The idea of ending the series is at a nascent stage. The final call will be taken following discussions with all the stakeholders only after they wrap up the third season."
Scripting for Season 4 has begun
Reportedly, the creators have also started writing the script for the fourth season. "Alongside shooting the third season, Raj-DK have begun writing the fourth part," another source told Mid-Day. "The third edition's next schedule will start in the coming weeks, and the makers want to utilize the breaks in between to complete the fourth season's script," they added.
'The Family Man' premiered in 2019
The Family Man is a comedy-espionage thriller that tells the story of an unassuming spy, Srikant Tiwari (Bajpayee). The show also stars Priyamani and Sharib Hashmi. It premiered in 2019 to glowing reviews and its second season, which was released in 2021, was also well-received. Sharad Kelkar, Ashlesha Thakur, and Neeraj Madhav are also part of the show.
