'The Diplomat' teaser: John Abraham steps into a high-stakes rescue
What's the story
The much-awaited teaser of The Diplomat, starring John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb, was released on Friday.
Directed by Shivam Nair, the film is a collaborative production effort of T-Series, JA Entertainment, and Wakao Films in association with Fortune Pictures.
The star-studded cast also features Revathy, Kumud Mishra, and Sharib Hashmi.
The film promises to reveal a new side of Abraham, where sharp intellect and commanding words drive the narrative in a world of high-stakes diplomacy.
Teaser breakdown
Abraham plays JP Singh in 'The Diplomat'
The nearly one-minute teaser kicks off with a clip of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's interview, where he names Lord Shree Krishna and Hanuman as two of the greatest diplomats.
The scene then shifts to Abraham as real-life Indian diplomat JP Singh and Khateeb as Uzma Ahmed, locked in a tense, high-stakes encounter.
A day before, Abraham had teased fans with a cryptic post on Instagram. Turns out, he was asking them to get ready for the teaser!

Meet the team behind 'The Diplomat'
Ritesh Shah is credited for the story, screenplay, and dialogue of The Diplomat.
The film's cinematography is by Dimo Popov and MSC Gyd, while editing is by Kunal Walve. Ravi Srivastava oversees production design.
Daniel B George has composed the original score for the movie, while sound design is by Mohandas VP.
The film has original music by AR Rahman and the lyrics have been written by Manoj Muntashir.
It will hit theaters on March 7.
