'The Buckingham Murders' box office collection drops on Day 4
Kareena Kapoor Khan's latest film, The Buckingham Murders, has experienced a significant drop in its box office collection on the fourth day of release. According to industry tracking website Sacnilk, the crime thriller managed to earn a modest ₹75 lakh nett in India on Monday. This is a steep decline compared to the film's first weekend earnings, which stood at ₹5.3 crore after Sunday.
Film's total earnings stand at ₹6 crore
Despite a disappointing opening of ₹1.15 crore, The Buckingham Murders showed improvement on its second and third days, earning ₹1.95 crore and ₹2.15 crore respectively. However, the film's total earnings in India now stand at just ₹6 crore nett after four days of release. The film's overall Hindi occupancy was reported to be 10.81% on Monday, with notable interest in cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad.
Producer Ektaa Kapoor declares film a 'profitable' venture
Despite the film's underwhelming performance at the box office, one of its producers, Ektaa Kapoor, has already declared it a "profitable" venture. At an event in Mumbai, Kapoor revealed that the film has already recovered its budget and confidently called it a commercial success. "The Buckingham Murders has covered its full cost, including P&A. It's already profitable, both theatrically and at the box office, in India and worldwide," she said.

Kapoor also praised Kapoor Khan's box office appeal, "I've seen very few actors being able to get a full house audience. Kareena has that kind of a pull."
