Show takes to Twitter to get fans hyped
The Big Bang Theory's handle posted a picture on Twitter on Monday. The CBS show revealed a look, behind the scenes, at some of the guest stars in the series that included the likes of Kevin Smith and William Shatner among others. The post read 'Talk about a galaxy of guest stars!' and urged fans to tune in on Thursdays for new episodes.

News of show cancellation had disappointed fans
For those unaware, the news of the show's cancellation was announced during the premiere of its twelfth season in September 2018. The news caught fans by surprise since the show enjoyed immense popularity and good ratings. Some cast members too shared their disappointment with fans.
However, some cast members bid the show farewell
While some cast members were saddened, Jim Parsons who plays Sheldon Cooper's role handled it maturely. He said that they felt it was time and they had innately run their course. However, he expressed obvious sadness at saying goodbye. Parsons likened the situation of saying farewell to cast members to graduations, saying he would tear up while leaving people he enjoyed working with.

While TBBT itself is ending, the show's legacy is sure to live on through spin-offs. Young Sheldon already exists, exploring how Sheldon was as a child. CBS also said they would be open to more spin-offs as long as show creator Chuck Lorre was interested.
