Box office collection: 'Thank You For Coming' gets no takers
Sex comedies have a very niche audience in India. Interestingly, sex comedies work better on OTT in India than in the theaters and the same has been proved yet again with the Bhumi Pednekar-headlined film Thank You For Coming. The film experienced a lukewarm opening weekend and it has not been able to surpass the Rs. 5 crore mark yet.
A crucial week ahead for the film
As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the Karan Boolani directorial earned Rs. 35 lakh (early estimates) on Monday. Overall, it has earned Rs. 4.77 crore in India. The movie experienced a huge drop on the first weekday and it will experience a struggling week ahead. The cast includes Anil Kapoor, Kusha Kapila, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, and Karan Kundrra, among others.
