Teja Sajja announces 'Mirai' with Karthik Ghattamaneni; April 2025 release
Following the success of his hit pan-Indian film Hanu-Man, rising star Teja Sajja is collaborating with director Karthik Ghattamaneni on a new project. On Thursday, the makers announced that the movie is titled Mirai and is the 36th production from the renowned People Media Factory. In addition to the title, the creators also released the first-look poster and an intriguing sneak peek of the movie.
'Mirai' plot and character details unveiled
The upcoming film is set on the border between China and Japan and revolves around a warrior tasked with protecting nine sacred scriptures. These scriptures hold the power to turn a mortal into a deity. Sajja portrays a heroic character, known as Super Yodha. The film's thrilling narrative will depict how Sajja's character defends these holy texts. Going by the teaser, the film will be rooted in fantasy and history.

'Mirai' cast and crew details
Ritika Nayak, known for her performance in Hi Nanna, is cast as the female lead. The film's music is composed by Gowra Hari. The screenplay is penned by Ghattamaneni and Manibabu Karanam, with Karanam also responsible for the dialogues. Sri Nagendra Tangala is spearheading the art direction while TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla are listed as producers. Krithi Prasad serves as Creative Producer and Sujith Kumar Kolli as Executive Producer.
'Mirai' release and language details; director's previous works
The movie is set to captivate audiences in both 2D and 3D formats on April 18, 2025. The film will cater to a diverse audience with its availability in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, and even Chinese! Director Ghattamaneni is known for directing Surya vs Surya and being a cinematographer on projects such as Chitralahari and Bloody Mary.
Sajja's career beyond 'Hanu-Man'
Sajja has been actively engaged in showbiz for a long time, with his first acting credit in the form of Chiranjeevi's 1998 film Choodalani Vundi. As a child artist, he was also part of movies such as Yuvaraju (2000), Bachi (2000), and Chiranjeevi's Indra (2002). Subsequently, as an adult, he garnered acclaim for his performance in movies such as Oh! Baby (2019), Zombie Reddy (2021), and Ishq (2021).
