'The Bhootnii' teaser: Sanjay Dutt-Mouni Roy lead comic horror tale
What's the story
The much-awaited teaser of Sanjay Dutt and Mouni Roy's upcoming horror-comedy The Bhootnii was released on Wednesday. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, the film is slated to release on April 18, Good Friday.
The teaser takes us to an eerie mansion with supernatural happenings and Roy's ghostly transformation. Dutt plays a ghost hunter in this interesting blend of horror, action, and comedy.

This horror tale doesn't want us to take it seriously
While the voiceover is serious and talks about the immense pull and power of a spirit, the visuals don't want viewers to take things seriously.
There are artificial-looking blasts happening, Dutt's look as the ghostbuster is meant to be hip, and Roy plays a typical long hair-blowing, cracks-on-face ghost who shrieks and does nothing more.
It also stars Sunny Singh and Palak Tiwari.
Viewers might get reminded of Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor-led Bhoot Police here and there.

Fans were quick to praise his look in the film. Some also praised the use of a Shiv Aradhana track in the background as the clip was released on Maha Shivratri.
