Taking love for a celebrity to levels incomprehensible by sane minds, a man robbed a bank in Connecticut, USA, and threw stolen money over the fence of Taylor Swift's Rhode Island mansion. All to impress her!
Bruce Rowley, 26, was arrested on Thursday. He stole $1600 (Rs. 1.04L) from Webster Bank in Ansonia, Connecticut.
He faces charges of 2nd-degree robbery and 4th-degree larceny.

Bank robbery to Taylor's mansion: How the fan committed crime
On April 5, Bruce Rowley robbed the bank using Jeep Grand Cherokee. After detectives identified him for the robbery, they uploaded his photo on the nationwide database.
On Interstate 95, police tried stopping Rowley's car but failed. At exit 95, troopers used spike strips to flatten the tires.
"Rowley reported that he tried to contact Swift, however, she was not home," said police.

"It seemed he wanted to propose to her, but she wasn't home when he went there," said investigating officers. On being arrested by police, Rowley admitted to the crime. He is being held on $10,000 bail (Rs 6.5L).
