Taylor Swift wins over the internet with 'Love Story' re-release
Taylor Swift is on her way to beat the blues out of her shocking catalogue sale. She has already taken the first step toward that by releasing her version of Love Story, the song that catapulted her to fame back in 2008. And her new song just makes Valentine's Day 2021 all the more special for her fans.
Swift tweeted about upcoming 'Fearless' re-release
Just a day ago, the star singer had tweeted to her fans about the upcoming re-release of her album Fearless. "I'm thrilled to tell you that my new version of Fearless (Taylor's Version) is done and will be with you soon. It has 26 songs including 6 never before released songs from the vault," tweeted Swift, who calls the album "Taylor's version."

The lyric video of the new song is on YouTube
Fearless was released in 2008 by Big Machine Records and had 13 songs, which is half the number of songs promised by Swift now, thus doubling the fun for her fans. Earlier today, the official lyric video of the re-recorded song, called Love Story (Taylor's version) was released on YouTube. The only difference between the two versions is the scale of the song.
The video is a hit
The video contains images of Swift with fans, which her team took during her defining Fearless tours. The video also has clips from Swift's past stage performances. The clip had nearly 500K likes at the time of writing this piece. Fans on YouTube are even demanding a video re-release. Besides, they speculate that the new Fearless album will drop on April 9.
'Fearless' re-release will help Swift start regaining control over music
Release of Fearless (Taylor's version) will be a starting point for her fans to support the star and not her former music manager Scooter Braun, who acquired Big Machine and thus, rights to the music of her first six albums. He then sold it to investment company Shamrock Capital. Ryan Reynolds had teased the new Love Story song in his Match dating app advertisement.
