Taylor Swift reclaims Billboard top spot with 'Fearless (Taylor's Version)'
Taylor Swift has made magic with her music yet again and the fans agree as Fearless (Taylor's Version) album reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart. This is the singer-songwriter's third number one album in a little over eight months, making her the first female artist to achieve this feat. The original Fearless album, which released in 2008, also debuted at No. 1.
The album contains six songs never recorded/released before
Fearless (Taylor's Version) contains a total of 26 tracks, 12 of which were written entirely by Swift alone. The album includes all 19 tracks from the original Fearless, 2010 single If Today Was a Fairytale, and six additional songs that were written for the 2008 album but were never recorded and/or released. This marks Swift's ninth time at Billboard 200 number spot.

Here is why Swift is recording her own albums again
The reason why Swift is re-recording her albums is because she's trying to reclaim the master rights of her albums, which became a huge point of contention in 2019 when her record label, BMR, was sold. Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings bought the label along with all of Swift's master recordings. The 31-year-old had criticized it publicly and announced that she'd be re-recording her albums.
She has 28 Guinness World Records to her name
Swift has truly cemented herself in the world of music as one of the greatest artists of all time. She has won 11 Grammy Awards, 28 Guinness World Records, an Emmy Award, 32 American Music Awards, and 23 Billboard Music Awards. Some of her chart-toppers include Love Story, Bad Blood, You Need to Calm Down, Cardigan, and I Knew You Were Trouble.
Man recently tried trespassing at Swift's apartment building
In other Swift-related news, a man, suspected to be 52-year-old Hanks Johnson, tried to gain access into her Tribeca apartment building in New York City. Police were quick to arrive at the Franklin St. complex after receiving a call about a man trying to force his way into the building. And, according to the local cops, the suspect was arrested without any incident.
