The trailer opens with a massive bomb blast in the valley. As the investigation unfolds to uncover the mastermind behind this crime, the name Al-Damishq emerges—a man who recently returned from Syria after receiving training from ISIS. The trailer delves into Al-Damishq's story, revealing that he has returned to avenge his father's death, who was killed by the Special Task Group. Sworn to exact revenge, Al-Damishq sets out on a mission—his first target: Kabir (Vij) and his family.

Tanaav follows the story of an army commando, Kabir, who is deployed in J&K with his special forces team to combat terrorism. The show is an adaptation of the Israeli series Fauda, created by Avi Issacharoff and Lior Raz. Helmed by directors E Niwas and Sudhir Mishra, the ensemble cast includes Khan as Vikrant Rathore, Rajat Kapoor as Jagjit Malik, Sukhmani Sadana as Nusrat Farooqui, Danish Husain, Sahiba Bali, Waluscha D'Sousa, and Soni Razdan among others.
