She termed the reports "fake and misleading" and has promised to take "appropriate action" against such claims.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, she said, "It has come to my attention that rumors are being circulated alleging my involvement and dealing with cryptocurrency."

Earlier on Friday, several reports indicated that Bhatia and fellow actor Kajal Aggarwal could be summoned by Puducherry Police for questioning in connection with a case involving a cryptocurrency scheme.

The case was registered based on a complaint by Ashokan, a Puducherry resident, who alleged that he and 10 of his friends were cheated of ₹2.4cr by a Coimbatore-based firm through a cryptocurrency scheme.
Ashokan further alleged that he was invited to the company's launch event in 2022—which Bhatia attended. He also spoke of a subsequent function in Mahabaleshwar that Aggarwal reportedly attended.
However, there has been no official word from Puducherry Police on plans to summon Bhatia and Aggarwal.
