About the web-series 'Time Out'
'Time Out' is a romantic comedy featuring a married couple Rahul (Tahir Raj Bhasin) and Radha (Sarah Jane Dias). The series will introduce the audience to a side of urban marriages where the couple has to deal with issues of responsibility-reliability-readiness. Director Danish Aslam has toiled really hard for the project and both the actors have undergone rigorous training for their respective roles.
That's how Tahir prepped for his role
In order to get an understanding of his character Rahul, Tahir met with two different types of couples - one who had just broken-up and another who had just gotten married. Their experience with their partners helped Tahir in doing justice to the role.
Tahir Raj Bhasin's glorious start
Delhi boy, Tahir started his Bollywood journey with 'Kismat Love Paisa Dilli' in 2012 and made an appearance in 'Kai Po Che' before officially debuting for 'Mardaani'. The movie 'Mardaani' got him a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, and Screen Award for the Best Antagonist. In 2017, Tahir also got featured in Forbes '30 under 30 list.'
Here's what Forbes wrote about him
"The menacing villain from Mardaani has carved a niche for himself as a thinking actor who is superb at giving subtle nuances in performances- a rare commodity in today's age."
A glance at Tahir's non-filmy background
Tahir has grown up hearing about fighter planes as his father and grandfather both have served as pilots in the IAF. But he had other plans, he started his training in acting at the age of 15. Even after joining the Hindu College, he remained loyal to his first love, that is acting. He has been trained under the likes of Naseeruddin Shah.
What to expect from Tahir's web series ?
Danish Aslam's brainchild 'Time Out', which is set for a November 28 release, promises to portray a refreshing take on love and new age romance.
