    What's the story

Taapsee Pannu is on a spree of signing sports-based movies, these days.

After playing a hockey player in Soorma and a shooter in Saand Ki Aankh, the actress has dropped hints about her next film.

Taapsee will reportedly be essaying the role of cricketer Mithali Raj in the latter's biopic.

The Manmarziyaan actress, recently, confirmed to be in talks for the much-anticipated biopic.

    Information

"It is too early right now to say it's happening"

During her recent interview with Hindustan Times, Taapsee expressed her desire to be a part of the biopic, and confirmed that she has been approached for the same. However, she also emphasized that "it is too early right now to say it's happening."

    Statement

Will she be a part of another sports film, too?

The actress asserted that she has been approached for several sports film.

"Honestly, I've stopped counting the number of sports films that have come to me! Maybe it's because people by now are aware about the kind of love I have for sports," she stated.

Taapsee also mentioned that another of her upcoming sports-based film will be announced soon.

    Choice

Taapsee chooses her movies on the basis of the story

Taapsee further informed that while she is a fan of the sports theme, the choice of her movies depends on the story.

The actress feels not everybody has a story worth making a film on.

"I probably admire and follow so many sports stars, but not everybody has a story worth making into a movie. It's a journey probably worth admiring," said Taapsee.

    Upcoming movies

For now, Taapsee's hands are full with interesting projects

Currently, Taapsee, who was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal, is looking forward to the release of Saand Ki Aankh.

Also starring Bhumi Pednekar, the movie will release around Diwali 2019.

Besides, the 31-year-old has four releases in the coming year.

"I'm doing a Tamil film now, then I'll start Anubhav Sinha's next, followed by Anurag Kashyap's," Taapsee stated further.
