After 'Haseen Dillruba,' Taapsee-Kanika team up again for Netflix's 'Gandhari'
Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu and writer-producer Kanika Dhillon are joining forces once again for a Netflix original action-thriller titled Gandhari. According to a report by Variety, the film will be directed by Devashish Makhija, known for his critically acclaimed movies Joram and Bhonsle. Gandhari is described as a high-octane action thriller with a compelling storyline revolving around unwavering determination and personal stakes.
Pannu to portray 'fierce mom on a mission'
Per Netflix's plot synopsis, Gandhari will showcase Pannu as a "fierce mom on a mission." This narrative is set against a backdrop of gripping mystery and high-powered action. The film marks the second collaboration between Netflix and Dhillon's Kathha Pictures, following the success of Do Patti. Meanwhile, Gandhari also represents the sixth collaboration between Pannu and Dhillon. Their previous works include Manmarziyaan, Haseen Dillruba, and its sequel Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, ZEE5's Rashmi Rocket, and the SRK-starrer Dunki.
