The action-packed film Alarum, starring Sylvester Stallone, Scott Eastwood, and Willa Fitzgerald, has completed its principal photography, Deadline reported. Now, the Highland Film Group is gearing up to launch international sales for the movie. The star-studded cast also includes Mike Colter, Isis Valverde, and D.W. Moffett. 'Alarum' plot and production details revealed
Alarum tells the thrilling story of assassins-in-love Joe, played by Eastwood, and Lara Travers who witness a deadly plane crash during their romantic getaway. The couple retrieves a top-secret flash drive from the wreckage, leading to a worldwide chase by intelligence agencies. Stallone portrays ruthless CIA agent Chester, tasked with eliminating them. The film is produced by Joel Cohen and Randall Emmett's Convergence Entertainment Group.
Stallone and Convergence Entertainment Group's ongoing collaboration
In addition to Alarum, Convergence Entertainment Group has teamed up with Stallone's Balboa Productions for another project titled Epiphany, which will also feature Stallone. Stuart Ford is set to handle international sales for this film. Established in 2022, the Los Angeles-based film production and financing company, Convergence Entertainment Group, has an initial slate of films including Savage Salvation (2022) starring Robert De Niro, and Gunner (2024) featuring Morgan Freeman.
Meanwhile, we look at Stallone's recent projects
Stallone earned two Oscar nominations for his roles in and writing of the Academy Award-winning movie Rocky. He later reprised his role in its four sequels and the Creed series, garnering a third Academy Award nomination. Stallone also directed and starred in Lionsgate's The Expendables series alongside Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, and Harrison Ford. Other notable credits include Warner Bros.'s Demolition Man with Wesley Snipes and Sandra Bullock. Meanwhile, he most recently starred in the Paramount+ series Tulsa King.
Stallone is currently occupied with 'Tulsa King 2'
In a social media post last month, Stallone revealed that filming for the second season of Tulsa King, created by Taylor Sheridan of Yellowstone fame, is underway. The actor shared an on-set picture with fans, announcing his return for the show's second installment. Tulsa King depicts Stallone's character, a recently released mobster, striving to establish a new criminal empire in Oklahoma. Its first season proved to be one of Paramount+'s most popular series.
