Sylvester Stallone is said to be close to signing a deal to return for two more seasons of the popular Paramount+ drama series, Tulsa King, reported Deadline.

The actor, also an executive producer on the show, will once again lead the cast in Seasons 3 and 4.

However, sources stressed that the formal renewal of the show is yet to be confirmed by Paramount+.

    Show overview

'Tulsa King' plot and cast details

Tulsa King revolves around New York mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi, played by Stallone, who is released from prison after 25 years and exiled by his boss to Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The show follows Dwight as he builds a new criminal empire with an unlikely crew.

The star-studded cast of the critically acclaimed show includes Jay Will, Max Casella, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Garrett Hedlund, Dana Delany, and Annabella Sciorra.

'Tulsa King' marked Stallone's regular TV debut

Tulsa King is an important project in Stallone's career as it is his first regular role on television.

The series was created by Taylor Sheridan, known for his work on Yellowstone, under a comprehensive deal with Paramount Global.

The show's first season, which premiered in 2022, received positive reviews, while its second season, which launched in September, has received even more acclaim with a perfect 100% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
