Swara Bhasker marries Samajwadi party leader Fahad Ahmad; see pictures
Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker is married now. The Veere Di Wedding star announced her wedding to political leader Fahad Zirar Ahmad on Thursday. The actor took to social media to post a video encapsulating their entire journey culminating up to their big day. According to the video clip, Bhasker and Ahmad had their wedding registered back in early January. Congratulations to the pair!
'And then we found each other'
Sharing the video, Bhasker wrote, "Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other!" The clip went on to share how the two were friends at first but a cat named Ghalib played the Cupid, bringing them together.

Bhasker had been teasing their relationship online
While Bhasker remained tight-lipped about her wedding, she has been giving hints about her beau for a while now. On January 8, just days after they got married, she posted a picture of two human heads snuggling together. Bhasker captioned it: "Something like love!" Not suspicious at all! Earlier this month, she dropped a selfie with her husband wishing the latter on his birthday.
Bhasker had fooled everyone with Ahmad's birthday post
Interestingly, Bhasker's birthday post for Ahmad easily fooled all her fans. Part of her caption had said: "You're getting older, now get married" and "Have...a fantastic year friend." The couple legally got married on January 6 under the Special Marriage Act. And, by the glimpse they shared, the pair had chosen white shirts and blue jeans for the event.

But who is Ahmad?
A Samajwadi Party (SP), Maharashtra, leader, Ahmad's Twitter bio says that he is the State President of Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha, a youth wing of SP. After graduating from Aligarh Muslim University, he received an M.Phil in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Reportedly, he is pursuing doctoral studies at the moment. The groom also retweeted the wedding announcement clip.
