Swara Bhasker claims her X account is now hacked
What's the story
Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker is facing serious issues with her X (formerly Twitter) account.
On Thursday, she revealed that her account was locked and "permanently suspended" due to copyright infringement.
However, just a day later, on Friday, she took to Instagram again—this time claiming that her X account had been hacked.
She shared a series of snapshots, with the first one featuring a bold-lettered message: "Update...More drama with my X account!"
Account details
'I was locked out of my account on January 30'
In her Instagram post, Bhasker wrote, "I was locked out of my account on 30th Jan."
"Following this, I tried to change my password and re-access my X account but was unable (to). Then I received an email claiming that two-factor authentication was turned off."
"And the following day 31 Jan I received an email which says some unknown account has accepted a delegation invite from my handle and can now post, send DMs, and create lists and groups."
Post clarification
Bhasker clarified content of disputed Republic Day post
In an earlier post, Bhasker had expressed disbelief over her X account being suspended for posting a Republic Day wish.
She clarified what her post contained, saying it featured an image with a popular progressive movement slogan in Hindi and a picture of her daughter Raabiya with her face covered, waving an Indian flag.
The actor claimed neither image was a copyright violation.
