#Kedarnath: Sushant is overwhelmed by success, says it's an encouragement
Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath gave us Mansoor, the charming Muslim pithoo whose smile had the potential of lighting up gloomy days. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's portrayal made the character even better which is probably why the movie is continuing its steady run at box office. Overwhelmed by the success, Sushant said this love encouraged him. He also expressed gratitude towards the fans and critics.

Talking about the movie's success, Sushant said that it felt great when the audience related to his character and appreciated his work. "The kind of minute detail we have shown in the film, they (viewers) are getting connected to it and appreciating it. All we want is that whatever we wanted to say should reach towards the audience without any obstacle," he added.
Separately, Sara Ali Khan shines in her debut performance
Kedarnath also marked the Bollywood debut of Sara Ali Khan and she has managed to impress the audience with her performance. The newcomer, who realizes her privilege, said it was heartening that viewers saw her hard work. Sharing her happiness, Sara stated, "In spite of all the nepotism debates, if media and audience are finding my performance good, it makes it even more special."
'Kedarnath' puts up a decent performance, crosses Rs. 50 crore
Kedarnath is based on the 2013 Uttarakhand floods. It released on December 7 to decent reviews of moviegoers and critics. After 10 days of release, the movie has maintained its strong grip at the box office and has earned Rs. 54.21 crore so far. It is expected that the Abhishek Kapoor directorial will easily touch Rs. 60 crore mark this week.
