Dangal director's next movie to star Sushant and Shraddha
After the groundbreaking success of 'Dangal', all eyes have been on Nitesh Tiwari's next directorial venture. Tiwari recently took to Twitter to announce his new project which will be jointly bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios. And now, a publication has reported that the untitled film will star Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles.
The film will hit the screens next year
An excited Tiwari tweeted, "Looking forward to being a part of the #SajidNadiadwala and #FoxStarStudios family for my next, after Dangal. A story I am excited to tell. Releases on 30th August 2019. Cast to be announced soon, stay tuned! @NGEMovies @foxstarhindi." He has also directed 'Chillar Party' (2011) and 'Bhoothnath Returns' (2014).
Here is the announcement
It will be Sushant and Shraddha's first film together
"Shraddha has had multiple meetings with the makers and is keen to come on board the film, but is yet to sign on the dotted line," the publication quoted a source as saying. Notably, it will be Sushant and Shraddha's first film together.
Meanwhile, Sushant and Shraddha are busy with their respective projects
Both Sushant and Shraddha have hit a rough patch as their respective last films bombed at the box office. While Sushant will be next seen in 'Drive' co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez and 'Kedarnath' opposite Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha is currently busy in the shooting of Prabhas's 'Saaho' and Shahid Kapoor's 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'. She recently wrapped up 'Stree' which also stars Rajkummar Rao.
