Confirmed! Sara Ali Khan will make her debut with 'Kedarnath'
Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer 'Kedarnath', after hitting multiple roadblocks, is now scheduled to hit the screens on a new date - November 30, 2018. Therefore, the confusion over Sara's debut film has finally come to end as 'Simmba' is slated for a December 28 release. Clouds of uncertainty hovered over 'Kedarnath' owing to the legal battle between the makers.

'Kedarnath' was earlier scheduled to clash with 'Zero'
Previously, the release of 'Kedarnath' was announced as December 21, thus, making for a clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Zero'. However, the clash has now been averted with the film's date being shifted. 'Zero' is directed by Aanand L Rai and also features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
It's been an uphill journey for 'Kedarnath', till now
The film found itself in troubled waters after director Abhishek parted ways with Prernaa Arora's KriArj Entertainment. 'Kedarnath' was being produced by Abhishek, Prernaa, Ekta Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar together. Prernaa then moved High Court to reinforce her rights on the project. Their bitter battle continued until Ronnie Screwvala teamed up with Abhishek to take over the film. He compensated the rest of the producers.

There is an immense buzz for 'Kedarnath' as it marks the entry of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter in Bollywood. The film is essentially a love story set against the backdrop of the 2013 Uttarakhand tragedy.
