Sunny Leone hospitalized after falling sick during 'Splitsvilla' shoot
Bollywood actor Sunny Leone was rushed to Brijesh Hospital Kashipur in the Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand on Thursday for gastroenteritis. She had complained of stomach ache during the shooting of the eleventh season of MTV's popular reality show 'Splitsvilla'. However, the doctors today said that her condition was stable.
She is being treated for appendix
A media report stated that Leone is being treated for appendix and is on the road to recovery. She, along with co-host Rannvijay Singh Singha, was shooting for 'Splitsvilla' in the Ramnagar district of Uttarakhand and was residing in a resort nearby. The shooting has been put on hold as of now.
Here's what the doctor supervising her said about her condition
"Sunny had come to the hospital with intense pain in the stomach and mild fever and she is now fine and the pain has subsided. We are giving her the best care possible and she is under medication and treatment," said Dr. Mayank Aggarwal.
Meanwhile, Sunny is headed South with 'Veermahadevi'
Sunny is making her acting debut in the South Indian film industry with 'Veermahadevi', the first look of which was released a while back. Directed by VC Vadivudayan, the film is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs. 100 crore. Producer Ponse Stephen is bankrolling the project. Besides Sunny, 'Veermahadevi' also stars Navdeep in a negative role.
