The cult action blockbuster, Ghatak, featuring Sunny Deol, will be re-released in theaters on Friday, March 21, 2025.
The news was shared on the official Instagram handle of the Red Lorry Film Festival.
The post said, "Brace yourself for the return of a cult classic! GHATAK is hitting the big screen once again at the Red Lorry Film Festival."

Released during Diwali in 1996, Ghatak completed 28 years of its release last year. From its gripping story to strong performances and memorable dialogues, the film is celebrated for many reasons.
At that time Deol had shared a nostalgic video on Instagram with some of the film's best scenes and dialogues.
In his post, he also paid tribute to the late Amrish Puri, who played Kashi Nath, a feared crime lord in the movie.

Wishing the film on its anniversary, Deol wrote in his post, "28 years of #Ghatak! My Diwali Release of 1996! Directed by #RajKumarSantoshi, Miss you #AmrishPuri sahab."
The film, which was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, featured Danny Denzongpa and Meenakshi Seshadri in leading roles.
Ghatak was a blockbuster hit on its release in 1996, and Deol's hard-hitting dialogues are unforgettable to this day.
