He feels Priyadarshan is the original and best choice for the film, owing to his profound knowledge of comedy and exceptional scriptwriting skills.

According to sources familiar with the project, Kumar, Shetty, and Rawal will begin the first schedule of Hera Pheri 3 in December 2025.

Director Priyadarshan, who is currently busy with the shooting of Bhooth Bangla, is expected to complete the film's editing, including VFX and post-production, by June 2025.

The movie will go on the floors after six months of script development and pre-production.
