Sunidhi Chauhan is an Indian playback singer born on August 14, 1983. She made her career debut at the age of 12 with the movie 'Shastra' in 1996. After recording ‘Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi’ from the 1999 film 'Mast', she rose to prominence. The song won her Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent and a nomination for the Best Female Playback Singer. She received her first Filmfare award for the song 'Beedi' from 'Omkara' (2006). In 2010, Chauhan won the second Filmfare award with ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ from the movie 'Tees Maar Khan'. The year 2010 marked her International singing debut, where Chauhan was featured in an alternate version of the song ‘Heartbeat’ by Enrique Iglesias. In 2013, she was featured in the list of "World's Sexiest Asian Woman" by ‘FHM India’ at the 28th position and was named the "Hottest Female Bollywood Lead Singer" by ‘MensXP’.
